As the saying goes, the happier your employees are the more productive they’ll be. As a result, some companies have clearly decided to embrace this wholeheartedly.  

Here are some of their pretty cool employee benefits. Just try not to get too jealous...

1. Get everything taken care of at Google

 

It’s non-negotiable that Google is committed to their worker's health. With on-site medical doctors, physiotherapists and massage therapists, Google employees are kept in tip-top shape all year round. 

Professional chefs also work to satisfy their staffs’ hunger pains by preparing organic food every day. What’s more, workers have access to on-site haircuts, sleeping pods, dry cleaning services and an unlimited supply of fresh flowers.

2. Hit the surf at noon at Patagonia

Patagonia, an outdoor clothing and equipment company, encourages its staff to get active by providing bikes, volleyball courts and on-site yoga.

With its location being just off the Californian coastline, Patagonia also tells its workers to hit the beach every day to catch some waves. The reception posts daily surf reports so you’ll always know when the ‘surf’s up dude!’.

3. Enjoy games, music and booze at Dropbox 

The Dropbox office has their own games room and recording studio that employees have unlimited access to. To top that off, Fridays are known as ‘Whisky Fridays’ - enough said.

4. Get popcorn and movies at DreamWorks  

The American animation studio DreamWorks puts on movie screenings and short film festivals for their employees to enjoy. 

Their thinking behind these cool movie perks is to reduce stress and inspire creativity. Judging by DreamWorks creations, it definitely works.

5. Reap those baby benefits at Facebook 

Facebook gives its workers four months paid parental leave. And to top that, they also reimburse parents with $4000 for childcare! If you’re starting a family, what a place to work!
